Mental Infliction Poem by Mandy Lee

Mental Infliction

Rating: 2.7

A sheet of paper fresh and new,
Reflects the sky ever blue.
Ink that seeps and runs through its veins,
Inflicts on a reader mental pain.

All things white can be black inside,
They shall surface, all things that hide.
What is hidden now may not be for long,
Today it's safe but tomorrow it's gone.

Safeguard yourself and lock the door,
Keep on hiding but you're safe no more.
The damage no longer comes from outside but within,
No matter what darkness will win.
