Missed Poem by Edward Abraham

Missed

Suffer through fail; heart and connectLonely seaside nights
Pain ensue and life dissect
Life's transcendent lights

Lost was the chance, away with her
Winter's pretty girl
But snowy Christmas day recur
Annie's sacred pearl

Life is mocked, life is robbed
Waiting for Eros' rise
Eyes is locked, eyes is sobbed
The more it always tries

Sans a hand, sans a heart
Annie shone all away
Where an end and where a start
As boyhood's led astray
