Missing You Poem by the Nickster

Missing You

It seems like only yesterday when my daily plans revolved around you
I would wake up feeling as important as the air that breeds new life
Little did I know our feelings weren't the same
Now, every day without you keeps me on the wall of shame.

I hope you know I love you though our words are few in passing
I hope you know I care for you though I've been excluded from your 'Life Lessons'
Lastly, know I miss you
and, my heart still has a vacancy~on reserve~for you to dwell.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM

Good poem, nothing to be ashamed. Love is not shameful, love is letting go and being free.
