Misty Days

Misty days I travel in
My heart wondering
I seek peace
Time and vulnerability

My heart wondering
The sensitive soul
Time and vulnerability
Seeks peace through vales of tears

The sensitive soul
Sees what others can't
Seeks peace through vales of tears
Sees what others won't

See's what others can't
Joy in the journey
See's what others won't
Misty days I travel in

Poet's Notes about The Poem

I wrote this poem in a poetry class. It's about how I know Christ has been with me throughout my life in this 'vale of tears, 'as the scriptures say, and how it is possible to, ultimately, have 'Joy in the journey.'

I have never actually been in a poetry class so I don't know if they are useful or not. Perhaps you can let me know. I quite like this poem. Am not sure if you can find peace in vales of tears, but I hope you find what you are looking for. (Report) Reply

Poem of the Day

poet George Gordon Byron

So we'll go no more a-roving
So late into the night,
Though the heart still be as loving,
And the moon still be as bright.

For the sword outwears its sheath,
