There once lived a monster so hideous and cruel
It stayed down and hid to produce its gruel
And late out at night it will come out and say
All the horrible things its mouth could relay
Like clockwork it would go up with the moon
And make all around it stay in a gloom
But when the sun comes up the next day
The monster looks to the streets in dismay
For the monster does not want to go out and play
But when the sun goes to bed
Watch out the monster will soon leave you dead
