Moon Lover Poem by Kenneth Romano

Moon Lover

Treetops glittering with hue as moonlight see me through
In a quiet and calm night when the moon is shining bright.
While the stars are twinkling afar and smiling it might,
I stare like a fool and wonder how are you tonight?

I lay down and dreamily stare far away into the dark sky
Holding hard and fighting the great urge not to cry.
Nights like this makes me miss you more and more,
My heart is longing for your hugs and kisses like before.

Wind softly blows and gently caressing my soul
As I think of you through the night like a mystified fool.
I close my eyes and there you are smiling to me,
You make me feel complete, loved and happy.
