Rain Poem by Kenneth Romano

Rain

Rating: 5.0

Oh rain, rain, rain
Come and wash away the pain.
Pitter, patte on the rooftop clean,
Do the same to me, oh holy rain.

Sing-son to the wind of change
Silence the noise that comes to my brain.
Bind the hurt that wounded my heart,
Heal the wond that broke it apart.

Cleansed me with your healing touch,
Soothe my tears and mend me to patch.
Help me forget the bad memories,
Take it away into the deep seas.

The storm may test my strength
The flood may drown my spirit.
Yet I believe in the saying,
That sunshite comes after raining.
