चाँद रात में सैर करें, तारों का थामे हाथ
इक दूजे में खोयी रूहें ढूंढ रहीं सुख-साथ
ठहर गया है वक़्त तप्त आलिंगन में आबद्ध
विश्वास लिये प्राणों में हैं मिलने को सन्नद्ध
छीन कर चुंबन ने संताप
हर लिया सारा पश्चाताप.

I also read the original English poem. It's a beautiful translation and my husband advised me to rate it as 10.
