Early morning the sun shone brightly
The flower seller arrived to display her floral exhibition
Marigold in orange, red, yellow
Lit up our face with a glow
We were out for a brisk walk
To cut down our weight to rock
The street dogs joined us wagging their tails
From where so much energy they avails
I fail to understand
But I wave my hand
To watch their eyes twinkle bright
Above the clouds in cotton white
Trail across the blue sky
Birds fly
I draw out the succor of life
In this age of competition
When rivals sharpen their knife
To strike at the back out of their own frustration
God help me to forgive them
Coz I seek to reach heaven
Amidst all turmoil
Hope my attempt will never foil
Here on earth I seek to connect you
And smile as I sail the blue.
