Ubers wildly outnumbering
real cabs,
ganging up on them,
tearing them apart
in broad daylight
like hyenas
devouring
living prey.

Yellow cabs,
the entry job
for 10 million
new-minted New Yorkers.

Life savers
drifting away
in the storm.
