My Fair Maiden Poem by Kwai Chee Low

My Fair Maiden

My song
All about her
Memories so strong
The way we were

Places come alive
Whenever she appears
My energy revives
At her eyes so bright and clear

A soft breeze
Caresses her hair
Her head gentle on my knees
Her cheeks so rosy fair

The morning sun
Peeking through leafy branches
Fingers of warmth on her skin they run
Her twinkling eyes reflect her glances

Mesmerised by her beauty
Charmed by her personality
Never was she gloomy
But brimful of vitality
