I fought you for so long
And did not know why
You always stood so strong
And I would turn a blind eye

Moments have come and gone
But one thing remained
I tried to move on
And did not realize what I could gain

You have captured my soul
Opened my mind
To a world full of passion
A world to which I was blind

And I can no longer deny
What I have locked up inside

For now I feel free
And now I can let you see
What I truly want
Is for you to love me.
