My Heart Won'T Let You Go Poem by Heather Burns

My Heart Won'T Let You Go

We stand at the
rivers edge clinging
to each other.

Whispering goodbys
but my heart won't let
you go.

Turning walked away
each going in oppisite
directions

separating, but my
heart said no, I'll never
let you go.

It keeps calling
your name, remembers your
sweet presence.

My heart won't let you go.
