Of clean beasts,
Of unclean beasts!
Sleep my sweet love;
Man from the dust,
Woman from man,
A child from woman,
Sleep my little one.
Of a garden eastward of Eden! !
Pleasant to the sight;
Sleep my little one,
For the beauty of the night.
My colour!
With the colours of the world,
And, with the muse of a child;
For the mother to take care of.
Life and problems!
Like thorns and thistles;
Struggling,
With bread after your sweat.
A river to water this garden!
Delightful with the muse of love;
Watchful,
For the love of the bright sun.
Tender green shoots! !
Of a joyous love;
Sleep my little one,
After eating clean things today.
Plants of love!
Rain of joy,
Fruits of life;
Ears for knowledge and, eyes for understanding! !
With a beautiful nose for the wise,
Your mouth shall eat clean things.
A joyous poem and a delight to the ear, Edward. Must be a 10 Tom Billsborough
