My Lord, My God Poem by Shipra singh (ships)

My Lord, My God

Rating: 2.9

The value of god,
Which is actually as lord.
They fly as bee,
But they never see.

God is alive,
Good things will relive.
Whom we believe,
Whether god or science alive.

Peoples wants to go to meet to god,
If it possible with lift,
Because god precious gift,
Otherwise god will rude and rift.

And if they will worry,
Then there will god discovery.
So, love to god is necessary,
Because there is many god adversary.

For earth's nourishment,
And for people's advancement,
Except God's dominant,
And say'My lord, Oh my God'.

I taught World Religions for twelve years; it was a very popular course. Scholars list six religions as World Religions but there are are at least 2000 smaller religions. So being religious is a vital part of being human. I read your poem very carefully and it strikes me as first a sincere prayer, and second as a prayer that any and all religious people could recite. It has that universal quality of saying what brings us together. For example, we can all agree that prayer nourishes the earth with respect and advances people spiritually (last stanza) .
