My Love Poem by ANDREW BLAKEMORE

My Love

Rating: 5.0

My love ascending through the clouds
From darkened days has set me free,
Awoke the warmth within my heart
That now can love and comfort me.

My love does speak so softly now
Where once so bitter now so sweet,
Where feeling was once lost to me
True happiness I now can greet.

My love is blooming like the flowers
Which in the summer gardens grow,
Their scent and beauty brings me joy
From darkness shines their colours glow.

My love is floating through the air
Too much for me to hold inside,
At peace at last my troubled soul
I can but yield, my love abide.
