My Love And Your Convenience Poem by R. Ariffin

My Love And Your Convenience

Rating: 5.0

When love is no longer according to your convenience;
And when hope is beaten down and shattered to the core;
Its has always been easier for you to throw it away;
Rather then to mend and caress it to shape once more.

Everything about you has always reminds me since;
Not everything can heal and recover, I suppose;
No matter how long, how hard, how strong;
‘Cause there’s a hole in my heart that wouldn’t close.

Here I lay in bed, alone, confused and heart wrecked;
Telling myself to stay awake and hold my conscience;
All the while exhausted from trying to comprehend;
The conflict between my love and your convenience.
