My Man Poem by Theodora (Theo) Onken

My Man

Rating: 5.0

He has been mine for a very long time (decades)
Forever-together with unbreakable ties that bind...
Know in my heart that he is my last
Unlike my first husband of the past.

If he should leave this earth before i
I will soon be the next to die...
Soul mates we were from the start
He's the permanent holder of my love struck heart

SO, if you're looking between these lines...
Searching for a hidden message or a sign- -
Do not bother to waste your time
For nothing can sever these ties that bind.

COMMENTS OF THE POEM
Theodora Onken 20 April 2016

True love sustains many things...ups and downs, smiles and frowns, tears and cheers, the good and the bad, the happiness and the sad, becoming very clear- true love (soul mates) last for all of the years. Together we are to be for this life and for eternity. - - Theo Onken.
