My Message Poem by Darren Harris

No one hears me, or understands me,
Because I speak in silence,
But I hope that someone will see my words,
My message,
Then help me to find my sanity,
Help me to untangle the mass of tortured memories within my mind,
But they can’t because their blind,
They can’t see my dreams for a stronger life,
A life filled with an everlasting touch,
Am I asking too much?
I dream of the future,
But I can’t let go of the past,
My mind is distorted with confusion,
Fighting against its own delusions,
Am I really here experiencing this emptiness? ?
This sadness,
I must be, the pain is so real,
All this hurt I feel could never be imagined,
But I could pull through and survive this madness,
And destroy whatever faces me,
If only you could see,
My silent words,
My message.
