My Tomb Poem by Darren Harris

My Tomb

Where am I, “help, help” I shout,
Nobody comes; there’s nobody about,
It’s cold; it’s damp,
I’m in a small room,
I think it’s my tomb,
The rooms long, but not very wide,
As I reach out I can touch both sides,
It feels like soil,
Is this my doom?
Is this my tomb?
As I shout louder, and start to scream,
My minds playing games, is it a dream,
Theirs no way out,
I’m in a cocoon,
I’m in a tomb,
It’s very dark, am I dead?
Or is my mind just been fed,
I must be dead,
There is no moon,
I’m in my tomb,
There are no stars in the sky,
Is that what happened, did I die,
They buried me,
In this room,
My TOMB…
