My New Born Son Poem by Marius Kruger

My New Born Son

Rating: 4.0

You came into our lives on a monday night.
You brought tears into my eyes at first sight.
As the doctor took you out of your loving mom,
I thanked God for giving me the most perfect son.

For 9 months I only saw you in my dreams,
but nothing could've prepared me for the reality when you gave your 1'st scream.
a Doctor must slap a baby's bum for the first noise.
Your head could only be seing as you were looking for your toys.

You weighed 4.328 kilo's and a lenght of fifty nine.
Eye's wide open, even before your first dine.
You and your mom are my reason for life,
You are the reason I've got the most perfect wife.

Thank you Lord for giving me the privilege of being a dad,
I will raise my child so that he can make You and his parrents glad.

I'm looking forward to spent the rest of my life with you.
Together we can accomplish anything we are planning to do.
To watch you getting your first try and make us proud,
and being the coolest kid in school with out a doubt.

No matter how you turn out to be,
You will always be my son and you and your mom will always mean everything to me!
