My Salary Poem by Mcanthony Nwatu

My Salary

Here I came empty
Unknowingly empty
Nothing I have now
Its way about I know.
Am favoured in the Lord’s eyes.
Soon and in time
He will start punishing me
With blessings, abundantly
Above all, exceedingly.
A theatre in round, nice
What I have I used,
What I want, to get:
I used my talent
In the Lord’s vineyard;
At every need
My salary pings
To and fro blessings.
What a pay price.

I needed something from God but, i need to show him what i got before i can ask him anything. Not that he cannot help out ex nihil, but i wanted to make a sacrifice to him to prove myself worthy of such demand.
