My True Love Poem by Jessica Elizondo

My True Love

Rating: 5.0

I walked in the hallways,
my eyes to the ground
My heart was broken,
and the pain grew worse every minute.

Tears would fall
and crash to the ground,
I walked the lonley hall
so lost and confused, didn't see it coming.

Then I looked up and there you were,
You said 'Are you ok? '
and I thought I'd never
hear that from one so beautiful.

Your eyes shine bright
as you wiped my
make-up smeared eyes.
Your eyes gave me hope.

And your touch melted my heart.
When you hold me I almost fall apart.
When you look at me
I blush and turn away.

Your words are so kind.
And they aren't filled with lies.
I'm so glad I
I've found you.

I lost hope in love
for awhile but my Love
your warmth brought
me out of that coma.

My heart was frozen,
But your kiss un-melted it.
I hope that this time it's true,
and what we feel now is real.

Our love is like no other, I love you,
and I thank God for your beauty in my life.
To let you go,
I'd be a stupid.

I pretty much put
my heart on this page,
And I don't think that,
my hearts ever been to the next stage.

Take care of my heart,
as you hold me close.
Together we will be happy.
Just give me a chance.

Your hand in mine,
our hearts tied together,
together we can face it all
kiss me and never let me fall.
