My War? No! Our War Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

My War? No! Our War

Creating a war to win a battle.
Has of yet proven to get,
One hero status.
Or an integrity believed increased.
By secretly pouring gasoline,
On a fire to ignite and start.
For the purpose to announce...
No one else thought to call the media.
To declare a victory won.
Therefore...
A war to begin to win it,
Should not be debated.
When made obvious who the victor is.

"But...
Isn't this 'your' war to start? "

-Always...
There is someone,
Wishing a hoax to report as a fraud.

First of all...
And you should know this.
This is not 'my' war.
This is 'our' war.

But, of course,
You represent the fake news makers.

Is there anyone legitimate here,
Who will report reality...
The way I say it is?

Yes...
Your question?
Not you.
The one with the full kissable lips.

Yes, gorgeous!
You.
Who else here is as honest as I am?

Please,
By all means I deem necessary.
Stand up.
I want my supporters to take a look at you.-
