Never A Thing... / Don'T You Still Love Me?
We were never really a thing
People just assumed that we were
That's what drove us apart
You thought I was telling lies
Thought that I was saying we were together
I told you I didn't
I told you, people lie!
Why can't you see that?
You tell me that things have just gotten too weird
People are starting to talk about us
"It's not normal! " you tell me
"No one thought we'd ever be together anyway."
But that's not true
I always did
You knew I always loved you
From the day we first met I did
And so did you
So what in the world stopped?
What changed inside your heart?
Was it me? Or was it you?
I miss you,
I love you,
Don't you still love me?
