The thought of giving up it all
Falling into the unknown
Brings peace into my head
While I’m crying here alone

I never thought I’d get this deep
It was supposed to just be fun
But now they’re coming to my door
Holding up a gun

He said just try, just have a taste
Let your pain just fall away
So I held the needle to my arm
Let the pain away that day

And soon I started craving
That feeling of being numb
So once again I felt that prick
Of the needle in my arm

I lied and stole and sold myself
Just for another taste
I held the needle to my arm
And pushed it in with haste

But now I’m left with nothing
My life has fallen apart
I want to piece it back together
But just don’t know how to start

So for the very last time
I push the needle into my vein
And embrace the darkness
To never feel again
