No Meeting Point Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

No meeting point on some even if they are called silly
Still we lived as happy people in our joint family
Temperamentally amusing and quite different
Yet spent time together at present

No one may notice our relation with any break
As we may not present any thing at stake
She lived with her own prospectus and with views
I stayed away with mine after providing dues

Bodily we are one as and when wanted
Laughed for a while, teased and taunted
She may come to me whenever desired
I shall take it lightly and often admired

It is not called compromise
But not healthy too otherwise
We are not separate entity
We need to be one with all probability

But it is better than other arrangement
We have no complaint or resentment
She has her own way to live with
Yet marriage is bond and we firmly believe

It is not open clash of personality
But we can term it as neutrality
Where we have chosen not to interfere
Create terror in mind or fear

In public, we may show all affections
She may hold my hand with lovely actions
I shall mix with people and offer wonderful smile
When we walk hand in hand for a while

Such is diverse feeling in our approach
But it doesn't bother us so much
We are independent and loving couple
She smiles beautifully when her cheeks turn purple

I love her not because of she is beautiful
But because of her nature as well
She won't speak with any kind of bitterness
Smile gently and show always the happiness
