No More To Say Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

No More To Say

Rating: 2.8

More to say

I have nothing more to say
He had shown the courage and way
Peace and dreams were not distance away
There was always hope and ray

I remember as child
He was no more and this made me wild
He was my great hero and idol
“Apostle of peace” as we called

My country suffered a lot
As he was great friend and fought
For out country’s defense
When international scene was so tense

I will not go into his murder detail
Well laid conspiracy to derail
All peaceful relations and create disharmony
For the sake of control and hegemony

His family had great name as of ours
Nehru’s ruled Indian scene and Kennedy of yours
Both stood for international peace
But the enemies were restless and not at ease

Some rounds of fire and lfie was over
No one found time to offer cover
He was done on the sport
What else is now is left to report

I remember then whole of world in tears
No one believed or refused words to hear
Yet it was reality and was forced to believe
World’s security was at stake and yet we had no preference to live
