No Way Out Poem by Carmen Mendoza

No Way Out

Four walls, all black.
No door, no way out.
It seems so bright,
But its dark inside.
All I can do is sit back.

Time passes and I don't age
And it seems like this pain will never end.
The darkness whispers, I only listen
And it waits for an answer
But all I do is sit back and never answer.

The dark is cold but I don't care,
I only wish this would end.
Life is pain and I a mistake
And I can't do nothing to erase it.

Four walls, all black.
No door, no way out.
All this pain is locked inside
Without a way out.
