Noble Lyre That In The Night Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Noble Lyre That In The Night

Noble lyre that in the night
With wind-fluttering toga
Launches in the dark
The attire of glory
In those sober hours
As hour after hour
The old cathedral strikes
Beneath the white and jutting
Spires
In old Valletta.
