Nobody Sits Unaffected Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Nobody Sits Unaffected

Today a difference dared to be made,
Should be advocated as a benefit.
And promoted with it aided.
Since a conforming to the 'normal',
Has created misfits.
Doing what they wish to leave,
An upheaval that is evil to permit conflicts.
And nobody sits unaffected by this,
Act of evil that permits...
Upheaval, chaos and unleashing of conflicts.

Today a difference made,
To oppose an ongoing overflow of nonsense.
As if wanted by those wishing,
To vacation in weekend visits to an abyss.
As if to experience then to leave.
When bored with it...
Like they do to quickly switch,
From news to sports or comedy seen on TV.
Not to digest the seriousness,
They permit to allow around them to exist.

Today being determined to make a difference made.
Can be a benefit to those,
Unconsciously conforming to a life...
Creating misfits normalizing,
Mentalities that are crazed.
And no one nowhere,
Can admit they are unaffected by this.
Since an upheaval that is evil,
Has been permitted to exist.
As if wanted to get.
Done and made to prioritize,
At the top of one's wish list.

If this is a 'normalcy' depicted not sick.
What is?
Conflicts?
Tension and division?
Racism?
And the absence of minds,
Finding to be threatened by common sense.
