North Star Poem by Isabella Francis

North Star

Stars twinkle across the sky,
Some in pairs, triplets or singles shy.

I am one of the paired ones I guess,
Leading my life through a tangled but happy mess.

Some days there's a downpour some days the sun shines bright,
Some days there's comfort some days a terrible fright.

I know you're there for me as I am for you,
Some incidents we were separated but those were a few.

Every night before me you apparate.
You just say a line 'trust me' and disapparate.

As soon as we see each other we know a current sparks,
The spark that infiltrates every dark.

In each others arms we had cried,
In each others arms we now smile.

The downpour goes dry the fright is not a bother,
It's only when we are with each other.

Now as each thread in our life untangles,
We smile and our fingers we tangle.

I wish for our fingers to be tangled forever,
As the determination of the north star never does waver.

Nicely put. Try 'Guide' if you have a spare couple of minutes. Thanks.
