Not Made Of Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Not Made Of

What would I want to miss?
Life had just made death kiss
I came to sense all of sudden
I was about to be borne to heaven

This gave me rude jolt
I felt timely knock from the bolt
It was just call for one go
I was to be in pieces and flow

I sat silently in bed
And thought about dead persons
What would they do if given option?
I gave full weight to close relation

I had acted unfairly so far
I shall push that idea or debar
I shall try to be honest
And act to the ability as best

One must have some principles
As life is another name of struggle
If I am to leave out one thing
I shall never ask to be king

Life is not made of roses
But then also forces us
To miss many things
Look like joker in the ring
