Coach Boeheim's last great team,
be proud to be a member,
don't run off to the N.B.A.,
unless he says that you should go,
... ask Carmelo if he knows?

Coach Boeheim's last great team,
in a career unlike another,
if He thinks you're ready,
... no holding back,
the truth is what you get from him.

Coach Boeheim's last great team,
as a team, perhaps the best,
the special stuff, won't be enough,
... make it be enough, for him!

Everything is good enough,
if everyone could hang around,
and shoot the final shot they found,
inside the key... for him!
... they would have done it !

His last great team,
in a way you're him,
the shot you take today,
is what he's been doing,
those 40 years,
... every moment that he taught you!
