Not Today Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

Not Today

Rating: 0.5

Celtic water flow in my mind
Acoustic guitar
Today I do not need undue pain
Sometimes I'm foolish
I handle what is not mine to take on
I let myself get saturated

Wisdom like a blue sky
Purple lilacs
Quiet of evening
I know there is a time and place
Sorrow has its turn
Not today

This is a fine Credo. I have no doubt you have felt deeply each component of your Credo. And you definitely pressnt it as a work in progress and not some completed agenda that puffs up your ego. This is Salt of the Earth-type. This is today's poem: I always like to read a poem the day it was written because that's when it starts its journey through the world into people's hearts and minds philosophising and gives reflection a shot of energy
