Nothing Of The Real World Poem by Dorsey Baker

Nothing Of The Real World

Stumbling around
in high heel shoes
much too big
for her
the young girl
is trying to
grow up
much too fast
smeared lipstick
upon her face
eyelashes
way too long
and a dress
much too tight!
she thinks she is
ready
but she knows
nothing of the real world!
