Eyes swimming with tears
Staring blankly at these 4 walls surrounding me
Wondering just where and how I went wrong
Hurt again
Heart broken again
Feeling like such a damm fool
Just another lover's clown
My plain face lost in the crowd that waits to adore you
Don't know why I still care
Why I still want you
A mystery unsolved
Why I want to be noticed by you


Rock and roll god with a guitar
You command the stage and now strangely enough
My heart can't seem to resist you
Aching
Reaching out a hand
Praying for you to take hold
Knowing that you might never
Never return the love that I feel
So full in my soul tonight
Asking only to be
Just once
Noticed by you


Sometimes I swear that I want to hate you
Other times I want only to make sweet, sweet love to you
Mixed up
Torn up
My head a real mess inside
Ever since you walked in and turned it upside down
I swear I ain't never been the same again
Lost in this endless maze of all these lonely days
Wishing
Hoping
Ever so much for just one thing
To someday be noticed by you


Living
Yet I feel as I am dying
Inside of a empty, hollow shell where my heart used to be
Lost sometimes it seems
Forever to you and only you
Everything that I desire
All that I have longed for and dreamed of for so very long
How much longer shall I wait for you?
Will you ask that it be for all eternity?
Or will you will pity someday on this pathetic saddness?
My soul crying out for yours
Tonight longing only to one day....


Maybe soon if there is indeed a God up there listening...
To be....
Oh if only to be...
One day....
Someday....
