Oak Tree Poem by Walterrean Salley

Oak Tree

Rating: 4.9

The old oak is amazing
And a natural wonder.
Her branches reach for the sky
Her roots run down under.

Birds nest in her hair.
The years prove her might.
Her fruit is the acorn—
To the squirrel's delight.

Her unique profile
Is seen against the night.
With an air of mystic,
She's an impressive sight.
