Obedience To Fear Poem by Jeffrey Johnson

Obedience To Fear

Rating: 5.0

Endless obedience to fear,
Distorting everything that we hear.
It leaves so many gasping for air
Countless souls crying to be freer!

To run away in constant fear,
Many are taught to say 'I don't care'!
Such obedience is seen everywhere,
Just the same they all shed a tear.

Believing truth is the greatest fear,
Many are killed senselessly every year.
Taught not to question authority's snare,
People blindly follow in hopeless despair.

Why are you Obedient to Fear?
Do you believe that it all began there?
You're all eternal, not a temporary flare,
So why do you fear actually being here?
