Peace Of Paradise Poem by Jeffrey Johnson

Peace Of Paradise

Rating: 5.0

A gift bestowed to all of us,
Alighted visions, a wavy sway.
Behold creation, so wondrous,
Swim sweetly in the Milky Way.
Shout for freedom, it is time,
So let go and let fear depart!
Cry for freedom, it is not a crime,
So unshackle the chains around your heart!

Rest in the lap of happiness,
Be soothed by tranquillity’s melody.
A gentle breeze’s soft caress,
Felt on every inch of your body.
Do not doubt you earned this,
After such labour for essential needs.
Please lie down and reminisce
On your fruit’s journey from just seeds.

Whisk away on Cloud Nine,
Allow relaxation to take control.
Before pondering what’s next in line,
Give pardon on your weary soul.
There is no start without an ending,
So why skip to the next phase?
Accept a bit of nature’s mending,
Bathe underneath the Sun’s rays.

A brighter future in our eyes,
Flutter away o' butterflies.
Just like you, we will arise
And take flight to the skies!
Listen to the word from the wise,
Always be above the lies.
It will be only then we can realise
More love is needed; no surprise!
This is for all, so don’t despise
Dreaming of para-para-paradise.

A Peace of Paradise for all,
Share it with everything you see.
No matter how hard or how small,
Quench your thirst for true harmony.

Piece of great elegance, well articulated and insightfully penned with conviction. A lovely philosophical poem with good rhyme scheme. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
