Old Fashioned Snow Poem by Deborah White

Old Fashioned Snow

Rating: 5.0

Cold glistening radiant a frosted beautiful icy gem;
glistening white blue, with a frozen drenched touch.
A reflective covered land mirrors unmoved winter dreams.
With magical sparkling flurries and ice wrapped streams.

Perfect, gleaming, immaculate, spotless white snow.
Delicate flakes floating, spinning twisting, not knowing
quite where to drift, or which way to go.
Glimpse a wonderful shimmering coverlet with a crystal glow.

See a tiny child’s footprint, innocence stamped on
unblemished flawless virgin snow. A portrait of a chilled
mid- winter impressed on a pale mantle; falling whispers
silent hushed, reminiscent of a long time ago.
