On It's Way

'On It's Way'

my spirit

Ride the thermals
in spiral motion

Free of gravity

Feather floating
rocking gently
to and fro

Dandelion fluff
in a deep breath

in a puff

drifting off somewhere

sky diver

With no preconceived notions

in mid-air
make a wish

send it on its way

happy landings

Poem of the Day

poet Emily Jane Brontë

I am the only being whose doom
No tongue would ask no eye would mourn
I never caused a thought of gloom
