On It's Way Poem by Metaphorically Speaking

On It's Way

Rating: 5.0

'On It's Way'

Soaring
my spirit
warming

up

glide

Ride the thermals
in spiral motion
counterclockwise
higher

rise
above

Free of gravity
weightless

Feather floating
tumbling
rocking gently
to and fro

Dandelion fluff
in a deep breath

in a puff
breakaway

drifting off somewhere

sky diver

traveler

With no preconceived notions

in mid-air
make a wish

send it on its way

happy landings
