Though God made Eve from Adam’s rib,
To show that they were one,
Her role was prime to fill the crib,
With daughter and or son!
The woman had a special role,
To nurse and raise children;
With family’s happiness as goal,
She made the earth, heaven.
And may her work remain blessed,
For ages that may come;
May love keep family much fortressed,
And peace fill every home!
A mothers’ day is special then
For human race on earth;
Go kiss and thank your mom, children –
The soul that gave you birth!
Express your love from depths of heart,
For all her toil for you;
For whatev’r good that now you art,
To mother you have due!
Happy Mothers’ Day, dear good mothers,
Our gratitude gathers!
