On Radovan Karadzic Poem by Francis Duggan

On Radovan Karadzic

Rating: 5.0

Radovan Karadzic he will die in jail
As a human being he is one who did fail
For his crimes against humanity in Bosnia the price he does pay
In prison he will spend his last night and day
Under his orders so many poor people have died
And so many life dreams by him have been destroyed
But the sad thing about it would you not agree
Is that many despots today enjoying the good life and living free
So many bad people go unpunished for their crimes against humanity
This is how it has been through human history
Of people who abuse their power over others the World is not in need
Power in the wrong hands can be destructive indeed
And what goes around comes around as the wise one does say
Radovan Karadzic in prison will live his last night and day.

Francis, I believe in karma. And those bad people will eventually suffer for all of accumulated bad karma. Thanks for sharing.

And he deserves it for perpetrating and sustaining the 1000 day siege of Sarajevo. I mourned that date the night I heard it on the British Radio news. Week after week Karadzic appeared smiling, laughing, quoting Abraham Lincoln (Sic) on the PBS News Hours and Jim Lehre could barely mask his contempt for this man who lied and lied and lied.
