When all the world is dark, and air
is heavier than it may seem,
and you are everywhere but where
I dream.
When clouds roll in and breathe a sigh
and gray has overlapped the blue
the colors differ from the sky
I knew.
When thunder nears and rain spills down
and everything is washed away
I wish for you without a sound
and pray.
To lose the world I had sought
and place your sky so high above
everything I once had thought
I loved.

This is such a moving write Ben, beautiful, with a lovely flow as each line tumbles into the next in each verse. A delightful read, and one which I thoroughly enjoyed. Love Ernestine XXX
