One group was taunting to another- -
Lest, being one, we claimed
Another; no one unfailing in truth.
'Twere surging moods in all,
All- - defied, full-mouth'd
Lest, daring not to be unnamed
Almost done the war so far!
Our Teachers came, and asked Why- -
All, in a second, gone in swoon!
Claiming one, suddenly, rose in shout
And, into speechlessness claimed one fall
For, 'NO TIT FOR TAT'
Said they, 'GET ONE SOON'.
And were listed our names in a long page
Until the race die
Until we bid Adieu.
