As my heart beat slows
And my blood stops its flow
I glimpse a second of reprise
But a second, is eternity to My eyes
The lies that that dreadful genus built
Should fill them all with limitless guilt
As I lay dying I glimpse the truth
And see it as a final act of the uncouth
Homo Sapiens created this idea of life and death
But Homo Superior shall put that quirk to rest
As my heart beat slows
And my blood stops its flow
Revealed to me is one final epiphany
That there is nothing on another side for me
There is neither heaven nor hell
And so sounds that one last knell
That is followed by Hades, or Shangri La,
Or nothing, or one more life of this Blah
So I pass with this tormenting peace
And wish my knowledge to my niece
