One night with you, would make my dream come true.
Fill my loneliness, and take away the blue
Fulfill my dream my emptiness,
Let me share, One night with you.

Pick up the phone, make the call
I’m waiting to hear your voice
You are my shadow on the wall
my one and only choice

Don’t worry about the people
Who say it’s just not right
Let their jealousy ride the ocean,
as we spend one precious night

When the valley is covered over,
and the rain has ceased to fall.
I can only hope we’ve had our evening,
as we answer to the call
