I LOVE YOU more than anything
Than flower-nestled beds
Adore their sun and welcome tears
As raindrops cleanse their heads

I LOVE YOU more than time itself
Than precious seconds spent
As seeds of memories gently sewn
Will show us where we went

I LOVE YOU more than quiet time
Than four legs intertwined
Than hearts can overflow with love
Than calm helps us unwind

I LOVE YOU and your children
And their smiles that warm our being
Their wide, sweet eyes of innocence
Through which small hearts are seeing

I LOVE YOU more than Cheetos
Or than star-filled summer nights
Than warm relief that cleanses us
And takes us to new heights

I LOVE YOU more than snow can fall
Than clouds clap while they weep
But mostly for the knowledge that Our Love is
ONE TO KEEP
