Our Days In Hell Poem by Hebert Logerie

Our Days In Hell

There are days that we want to forget,
But we cannot.
There are moments that we want to let
Go, but we cannot.
The events of September 11,2001
In the United Stated of America,
And the earthquakes of January 12,2010
In Haiti, Bohio, Quisqueya,
Are two of those unforgettable days of pain,
Suffering, misery, and of hell
That we've saved, so we can tell
Our friends, and grandchildren.
Two days where Satan
Had landed, and we quickly recognized
The Power of God in disguise.
The Almighty had mercy on us,
About three million people are hurt or perished,
Homeless, fatherless, motherless,
Helpless, penniless and hopeless.
Brothers and sisters, we should cherish
Every second of the day, because the Force,
The Power of God is Grand,
Since He can move mountains, land,
Rivers, people, animals and sand.

There are days that we do not want to remember,
Days that are hurtful, days that transcend
All previous events in our calendar,
Days that are set;
Minutes, hours and days that we want to forget,
But we cannot;
Days of sadness, days that mean a lot
To our friends, neighbors,
Brothers, sisters,
And even to our enemies.
We will always remember the days of crisis;
We will never forget the hours of sadness,
The hours of numbness, and the days of weakness.
We are not powerful, but God is.
We are nothing,
But GOD is EVERYTHING.
